To apply for MBBS in India the student should be between 17 to 25 years of age.
One has to clear National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET)
For All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) the required percentage is 60% for general and 45% for SC/ST and OBC categories to get admission.
There should be 50% marks for general and 40% for SC/ST/OBC categories with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in 12th grade.
Valid Mark sheet of 10th and 12th grade
Passport and other ID proofs
Valid school transfer certificate, medical certificate, code of conduct certificate, no criminal record certificate, and health checkup certificate
Parent's Bank Statement to show if they can pay the fee.
Caste Certificate if applying under any caste category – SC/SC/OBC
Process: Students looking to pursue MBBS in India need to follow the admission process wherein after completing their 10+2 in Physics, Chemistry, and Science with the required percentage they should appear for NEET. Once they qualify for NEET they have won half of the race and after this, they must appear for counseling after that they can apply to any Medical College of their choice.
The tenure of MBBS in India is 5.5 years out of which 4.5 years is for classroom study and the last year is for Internship.
If you want to study further and looking to do a post-graduation in Medical the term is 3 years.
