The Hindi dubbed version of superstar Allu Arjun's blockbuster "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" is set to have a theatrical release on January 26, the makers announced.
Production house Goldmines Telefilms shared the update on Twitter, which read, "Allu Arjun is returning to break the box office".
"After 'Pushpa', presently Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo Hindi dubbed in cinemas from January 26," the tweet read.
Written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas, "Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" also starred Pooja Hegde, Tabu, Jayaram, Sushanth, and Nivetha Pethuraj.
The film followed the narrative of Bantu (Arjun), who, after being disregarded by his father, learns that he was swapped as an infant and his biological father is an affluent businessman.
"Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo" is produced by Allu Aravind and S Radha Krishna.
Actor Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon-starrer "Shehzada", which began production in October last year, is supposedly a Hindi remake of the Telugu film.
This move has raised eyebrows, especially because of what transpired between Manish Shah of Goldmines and the makers of Shehzada last year.
In January 2022, taking advantage of no releases because of the Omicron scare and government limitations, Manish Shah announced that he'll release the Hindi version of Allu Arjun-starrer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo in theaters on Republic Day.
In 72 hours, the release plan was canceled after Allu Aravind, the maker of Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, flew down from Hyderabad to meet Manish Shah and persuaded him to change his brain.
This was finished as the fear was that the remake's box office possibilities would be hampered no doubt if the original version, which also starred Pooja Hegde, is made available in Hindi on a large scale.
Meanwhile, in a meeting, Manish Shah grabbed headlines when he claimed that Kartik Aaryan had threatened to walk out of Shehzada if Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo's Hindi version hit cinemas.
Later, Manish Shah was allowed to air the film on the Goldmines Television station.
The most awaited film of Kartik Aaryan named Shehzada is set to release on February 17. The film is an official remake of Allu Arjun's Telugu film Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
The film is one of the most amazing movies of All Arjun's career and the Hindi dubbed version will release ahead of Shehzada's theatrical release.
